KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has upheld the injunction to continue uninterrupted internet and mobile phone services across the country.

Chief Justice Sindh High Court Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi heard the petition against the repeated shutdown and disruption of internet service in the country, during which the court expressed its displeasure over the shutdown and disruption of internet service.


The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court said that if our internet does not work, what will work elsewhere, it seems that it will be fixed after the election.


Later, the court adjourned the hearing till February 21 due to the absence of the PTA's counsel and the court has ordered to maintain the injunction regarding uninterrupted restoration of internet service across the country.


The court has also maintained the order to continue the mobile internet service without interruption.
