According to Indian media, on the direction of Hindu extremist leader Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has warned Bollywood producers not to welcome the return of the famous Pakistani singer to Hindi films.
Amiya Khopkar, president of the Hindu extremist party's cinema wing, said that those planning to cast Atif Aslam in projects should remember the court order and reconsider their decision accordingly.
Amiya Khopar said that Pakistani artists will never be tolerated in India, unfortunately we have to repeat this to ourselves.
The Hindu extremist said that it was and will be the stand of the MNS that not only Bollywood but any language speaking industry in India should not make the mistake of including Pakistani artistes in their projects.
It should be noted that it was revealed in the media reports that singer Atif Aslam is returning to Bollywood after 7 years through the Bollywood film 'Love Story 90s'.
