False news about postal ballot papers being spread on social media: Election Commission

The Election Commission has said that false and baseless news about postal ballot papers are being spread on social media.


Spokesman Election Commission said that the number of postal ballot papers of candidates is being written in false news, this is misleading propaganda.


According to the spokesman, the returning officer conducts the official counting of postal ballots in the presence of election agents, after which these ballot papers are included in the final result.


The spokesperson appealed that people should not pay attention to these false news.


It may be noted that there was a viral post on social media claiming that Central Jail DI Khan had the results of the postal ballot.
